When making road trips in California, you cannot miss using the spectacular 395. The road network will connect you to the state's major centers, residential towns, best filming locations and other spectacular ghost towns. To confirm the history of the country you can make a tour to the Manzanar camp that was used to host the Japanese troops during world war two.
Taking the Whitney road, you will arrive at the Mountain of Whitney. The hills of Alabama with its amazing and spectacular landscapes are on that route. Leave Nevada on the fourth day and arrive at the Death Valley. While here, you will have left 395 for quite a distance. To the close of your four day tour, you can drive to Dante's, a point that you can be able to view the spectacular Mt. Whitney from a distance.
