Lake Tahoe

When making road trips in California, you cannot miss using the spectacular 395. The road network will connect you to the state's major centers, residential towns, best filming locations and other spectacular ghost towns. Even though most of its rich resources are yet to be fully explored for full exploitation, it can take an average of four days to make a full around California.

Tahoe is the best adventurous start point for your trip. Tahoe is the best suited destination for cyclists and skiing loving enthusiast during winter. On the third day, you can decide to either drive, hike or ride around Panorama, just near the Mexican border in a place called Mammoth. There you can view the spectacular gifts of nature that you would have never known did exist. From Mammoth, hit the road back to 395 and connect to Leone pine that is around one hundred miles away. At Leone Pine, there are trees that are conserved, aged above five thousand years in the forest of Bristlecone. To confirm the history of the country you can make a tour to the Manzanar camp that was used to host the Japanese troops during world war two.

Taking the Whitney road, you will arrive at the Mountain of Whitney. The hills of Alabama with its amazing and spectacular landscapes are on that route. This hills are credited for having many films and televisions shows being filmed from them. Whitney hotel offers the best rest and eating facilities in the town. Leave Nevada on the fourth day and arrive at the Death Valley. While here, you will have left 395 for quite a distance. The valley is known for being the hottest on earth, a record of fifty seven degrees Celsius was recorded in the early years of the last century. It is in this valley that geography becomes real. The point that is duped lowest in America is located here. It is also the home to the largest animal national park that is not in Alaska.

If you find it fascinating to view rocks curved out of erosion, there is the point of zabriskie that will offer you with the best view. To the close of your four day tour, you can drive to Dante's, a point that you can be able to view the spectacular Mt. Whitney from a distance. The place is suitable for stay as it has low temperatures unlike the Death Valley. At this point you can view the highest point of Americas landscape being the Whitney Mountain and the lowest being the basin of bad water in the Death Valley.
